The Boston Society of Landscape Architects is pleased to announce its newest way to further connect and interact with its members. LinkedIn is a business networking site that allows users to create a professional profile visible to others. Through the site, individuals can then maintain a list of known business contacts, known as Connections. Similar to Facebook your network consists of your connections, your connections’ connections, and the people they know, linking you to thousands of other professionals. From this network, individuals can learn of and search for jobs, business opportunities, and people. In addition, the Emerging Professional Committee has set up a subgroup page within the BLSA group page. Through this page the Emerging Professional Committee looks to assist recent graduates and young professionals as they become emerging professionals.
