2009 BSLA Annual Award Program
Recognizing Excellence in Landscape Architecture

59 submittals were received for the 2009 BSLA Awards Program, and the juries convened on Saturday, March 14 to deliberate on the entries. 21 awards were made in the Design category, and 4 awards were made by the Planning jury. If you submitted a project for consideration this year but have not received a letter from the Awards committee by April 3, please contact the BSLA Chapter Office at 508-620-5018 or info@BSLAweb.org.

Each year, the ASLA Student Awards give us a glimpse into the future of the profession.

Award recipients receive featured coverage in Landscape Architecture magazine and in many other design and construction industry and general interest media. Award recipients, their clients, and advisors will be honored at the Awards Presentation Ceremony followed by a special champagne event during the ASLA Annual Meeting and EXPO in Chicago, September 18-21, 2009.

The prestige of the ASLA awards program relies in large part on the high-caliber juries that are convened each year to review submissions.

Mikyoung Kim Design seeks a designer with 5+ years of experience, including full knowledge of all phases of project management and design process, from concept design through construction administration. The ideal associate is creative, team-oriented and quick to adapt to the intensive needs of a studio-based design office. Projects encompass landscape architecture and environmental art, including urban landscapes, playgrounds, public art installations and master plans.
