BSLA Annual Award Program 59 submittals were received for the 2009 BSLA Awards Program, and the juries convened on Saturday, March 14 to deliberate on the entries. 21 awards were made in the Design category, and 4 awards were made by the Planning jury. If you submitted a project for consideration this year but have not received a letter from the Awards committee by April 3, please contact the BSLA Chapter Office at 508-620-5018 or info@BSLAweb.org. Award recipients receive featured coverage in Landscape Architecture magazine and in many other design and construction industry and general interest media. This year’s Garden Fair coincides with the Grand Opening of the Lerner Garden of the Five Senses on Friday, June 19. This garden is already being talked about as the nation’s most innovative sensory garden even before it has been completed.
